For the

flourishing of

the city.

We’re meeting weekly.

We’ve been praying and preparing for many months with a core team committed to following Jesus together for the flourishing of the city. And now we’ve launched a regular sunday gathering. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection life of Jesus, and the beginning of Garden Church together this spring.

Sundays at 4pm
2663 Curts St, Kelowna

Kids ministry available from age 2 to grade 5.
Each week we gather for worship, teaching, communion and prayer. We’d love to see you there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here’s a few answers to questions we hear often. If you have other questions, let us know below.

  • We’re going to meet at 4pm each Sunday at 2663 Curts St., Kelowna. We’re grateful to the team at Story Church who have opened their space to us while we continue to pursue a long-term morning meeting space.

  • Each Sunday will include a time of worship and singing, teaching from the Bible, communion response, and opportunity for prayer. We’ll have coffee and tea before and after the service and opportunity to meet new people. We’ve designed our services around our four core values of encounter, formation, community and mission. The whole service will be around 75 minutes.

Kids will stay with us while we sing together and will be dismissed for kids ministry part way through the service.

  • We have Garden Kids ministry available each Sunday for ages 2 to grade 5. We also have an unsupervised nursery open throughout the service. All our volunteers have been trained and vetted to serve with kids.

Each week in Garden Kids we’ll spend time teaching God’s word, eating a snack, participating in prayer, memorizing scripture and building friendships through play.

  • Yes! We envision our services to be meaningful and spiritually rich, while also accessible to those who are searching, new to faith, or curious about church. There’s no dress code, no requirements, and no pressure. Just an open invitation to gather with us each week as we follow Jesus together.

  • We won’t be live streaming our services, though we will be recording the teaching each week and posting it on our website and YouTube channels.

  • We’d love to chat more about opportunity to move closer into community, whether that’s in a small group, through serving or connecting with a pastor.

Following Jesus together
for the flourishing of the city.

There is a truly good and beautiful life offered to each and every person through a simple invitation: “Come, follow me.” More than an invitation to a set of beliefs or behaviours, Jesus offers an invitation into life with him. As we take his invitation seriously, we experience the life we truly long for, a flourishing life for the sake of others.

Garden Church is a church plant in Kelowna rooted in the slow, steady, and transformative work of following Jesus. Garden Church seeks to cultivate a culture where following Jesus is woven into the everyday—through community, small groups, and rhythms of spiritual formation.

“This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.”
